Bad Bevensen in Every Season
Spring, summer, the late-summer heather bloom and quiet winter days — a destination for the whole year.
Bad Bevensen is worthwhile in every season — each brings its own charm. The spa park and the Ilmenau are right in town, the Jod-Sole thermal baths are open all year, and the heath shows ever-changing faces through the year. So you will find the right setting for recovery, nature and movement all year round.
Because the Parkhotel lies quietly in the spa quarter and the baths are open all year, you are never dependent on good weather: on sunny days the heath, forest and water beckon, while on cool or rainy days warm brine pools, sauna and the cosy atmosphere of the house await. Every season has its own charm here — and for each we are happy to put together the right stay for you.
Fresh green and long days
Spring is ideal for cycling and hiking tours: pleasant temperatures and quiet paths, long before the peak season begins. In summer, early or late hours suit longer tours, while the warm outdoor pools of the baths are a welcome cool-down even in the heat. For families, a short bike ride with a picnic followed by a visit to the baths makes an easy day.
Colours, calm and warmth
Late summer brings the heather bloom, autumn brings golden forests, pleasant temperatures and far less bustle — the best time for hiking and cycling. In winter the focus is on the combination of quiet landscape, short walks and warmth: the baths are open all year, and bathing in the 32 °C outdoor pools is a special experience on cold days in particular. Medingen Abbey and the town centre offer weather-independent alternatives.
Particularly well-balanced travel times are April to June for cycling, hiking and quiet nature experiences, late summer for the intense heather bloom, autumn for colours and less bustle, and the months from November to March for the baths, sauna, culture and short winter walks. Whenever you come: we are happy to advise you on the right time to travel and put together your stay so it suits the season and your wishes.
You experience all of this most beautifully straight from the Parkhotel: quietly located in the spa quarter, with short distances to the baths, the spa park and nature. Best of all, combine your stay directly with a matching package — accommodation, breakfast and ThermePlus are already included.
